RAPTI HYDRO AND GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LTD COMPANY OVERVIEW

Rapti Hydro & General construction ltd (RHGCL) was established on Kartik 5 2065 with the objectives to develop and prosper the Hydropower sector of Nepal. It is currently constructing a five-megawatt (5MW) Rukum Hydropower project in the east district of Rukum and it has its own electricity generation. The project is located at Bhume & Sisne gaunpalika of Rukum east district. Its registered office is located in Kathmandu.

The total cost of the company is Rs. 1,33,44,28,114.2. The shareholding structure of the company is 52% promoters shareholder, 10% project-affected locals, and 38% general public. Promoters share is already issued and now the company will float IPO for the local and general public. Mr. Rohit Rauniyar is the chairman of the company and Mr. Kul Bikram shah and ms. Anjana Shrestha is the Director of the company.

ABOUT THE ISSUE

RHGCL is issuing the IPO of 6,12,793 units worth Rs. 6,12,79,300(6.12 crore)to the Project affected locals from the 24th of Jestha, 2079. The initial closing date of this Ipo issue is on Asadh 7th,2079 if the required unit of IPO is demanded by the locals or oversubscribed the issue. If it is not oversubscribed till the 7th of Asadh then the issue date will be extended up to the 22nd of Asadh,2079. Seeing the craze of IPO it is unlikely to be not oversubscribed so there will be no requirement for the date extension.

After the completion of the issuing of the share for the project affected locals, the company will fix the date to issue its 38% share to the general public. The company has issued Siddhartha Capital as its issue manager. Locals can apply a minimum of 10 units of share to 6,00,000 units. It is better to apply only 10 units.
